Failing to up-sell concessions, or forgetting to smile could result in a two day to two week suspension. Why allow employers to profit by employing employees at below living wage and than deny one's right to work for what is at least a training opportunity? By using a denial of what accounts to providing oneself and family with food, shelter, and medical care this company should be avoided at all costs. Watching a movie here is to capitalize on the shoulders and sweat of our working brothers and sisters. Stand up for Worker's Rights. Sincerely, A Call For Picket.
Me and my main squeeze love it ! Every time we go we take hi. Me and my man love to go and spend all our money there even when we broke!
good food for the price. each time we go we find it friendly and the food is decent for the price. date night is a bargain. I don't know what the person meant about green hotdogs but i eat them everytime and had no such thing as a green hotdog. I don't beleive it.
Great movie theater for a great price and good food in Orange County.
I don't think the place is run down. Its not a new one , but until you go to the movies in San Diego on 32nd st at the Naval Base. this place is a Castle. The food was in reason, and price is great for big families . It was clean and great enviorment. I will recommed to go. I no longer go to the over priced shows , inless there is a movie that I have to see and can;t wait. Example : Twilight
For the price who can complain. I bet if you did , they will still fix to make it right.
The kids can;t tell one difference from one movie theather to the next.
Great deal - especially for a bigger family and generally budget minded people!. My husband and I try to go out on "date nights" each Friday. Frequently you will find us at this theater! We are sorry to be moving away from the area! We have four children and taking them to a "regular" theater is a very costly treat. We love to bring them to this theater where they can choose multiple toppings to sprinkle on their popcorn. For under $5 each they can get a children's combo with an Icee drink. When you spend so little on the movie you can afford to buy treats. We will miss you when we move away! Thanks for the years of cost effective entertainment!
Date Night (wednesdays) ROCK!!!!. Well lets just start out by saying what everyone knows "you get what you pay for". This place is cool if you want to grab a quick movie you missed it in the big box office theatre...its super cheap $3 dollar matinee...what a freakin' steal...and cheap food...but dont go expecting some gourmet food..its not terrible but it goes well with a cheap movie!!
Can't beat a $2 matinee and $1 hotdog!. I absolutely REFUSE to spend $10 on a movie unless it is something spectacular. So, when my friend told me about the theatre on Beach and Warner I had to check it out. My boyfriend and I loved it! Even though it is a bit older and there are no stadium seats, you can still see good movies at a reasonable price! Unlike the other review, I didn't find the staff to be rude. We actually talked for a while to the man at the food counter about the hotdogs. (He claimed that they are all beef and Kosher) One word: Delicious!! NOT green. In fact we almost always get a hot dog there and they have never been bad. On Wednesday nights, "date night" you can get 2 tickets, 2 popcorns and 2 drinks for $10!! I LOVE THIS PLACE! Go there! That is, unless you want to pay at least $40 for the same deal elsewhere.
Wow this place has changed....
Well as I walked into the theater, I was greeted by noone, as I got thru the line at the snack bar I was asked " what do you want"? I got my popcorn soda and 2 hot dogs, the hotdogs were over cooked and green, I returned it...
As I went to my theater, the manager ( person in a tie ) walked past me cursing at a female employee, I was in shock... I entered the theater to find trash over flowing in the trash can, under the seats were bags and cups, the floor was sticky.
As I left the theater, I went to the mens room to find someone in the stall smoking and writing on the walls.
I am a regular movie lover and love to visit different theaters, this was my second time to visit the Charter theater and it has changed, it was a very nice place a year or so ago and had real management that were customer oriented.
The theater has gone down hill, the picture was out of focus, the sound was like I was listening to an a.m. radio, but hey for the price of 3 dollars at night... its ok for someone thats doesent have the funds to attend a theater that costs 3 times as much so you get what you pay for.
This theater is below average and needs a revamp.
I am off to a different theater... back with another review soon!
I really hope the corporate office gets this place back in better condition.
