Starlight Movie Experience.
Interesting with previous review about the sound.
I thought it was just me with the lower volume, or that I was used to the extra loud volumes at AMC and Regal Cinemas that frequently go to. Wanted to try out the Starlight with first-movies for only $6 for matinees. A real bargain these days. Not first rate, but just okay for the price. Snack bar prices are much less than AMC and Regal, so if money is the issue, it is worth the savings, especially for families. The whole shopping center was deserted except for the Brewing Co and one other shop.
Sad since it had been years since I had been there and finding parking was a chore back then. Easy now.
Megamind movie view. I went view Megamind 3-D with my 2 children on Veterans day. I was so looking forward to seeing this movie. would have been good if I could have heard it. I'm really into the effects of the 3-D experience. I asked the employee working the door if the volume could be turned up, he said he would inform his manager. I went back to the movie, and waited for the volume to be turned up for about 20 minutes, nothing happened. I went back to the same employee, he directed me to the movie managers office. I proceeded to the movie managers office, and informed him of the low volume. He said he would raise the volume. He NEVER did. Although we enjoyed the context of the movie, we NEVER got the full sound experience. So I would give the movie a 10, but the new theater experience a 1. No wonder there are very few business's left in Triangle Square. In the future, I will stick with Edwards Metro Pointe. As they say, "You get what you pay for!" Unhappy Movie Viewer!!
